Australia Equipment Factory

This project is located in Sydney, Australia, and is a 21000 square meter equipment factory project created by Canglong Group for local enterprises. From planning and design to installation and debugging, Canglong Group has injected intelligent, green, and efficient new momentum into the Australian equipment manufacturing industry with the core logic of climate adaptation, industry adaptation, and standard adaptation.

The total weight of the steel structure of the project is 270 tons, and Q355B high-strength steel is used. 3D modeling and load simulation are carried out through BIM technology to ensure structural safety under the conditions of Grade 8 wind load and 50 year rainstorm. The roof is made of 75mm-1000mm gradient thickness polyurethane sandwich panels, combined with 0.6mm thick silver grey pressed steel walls, which not only meets the load-bearing requirements of industrial plants with large spans, but also reduces the annual energy consumption of the workshop by 28% compared to traditional plants through the insulation and heat insulation properties of the sandwich panels (thermal conductivity ≤ 0.024W/(m · K)).

Project Details

Faced with Australia’s strict building codes (such as NCC National Building Code) and complex geographical and climatic conditions, the Canglong Group project team conducted 6 rounds of field research in the early stage, and finally determined the technical solution for steel structures and high-performance enclosure systems.

During the implementation of the project, Canglong Group overcame challenges such as cross-border transportation and differences in skills among local Australian workers. The steel components are pre assembled in the factory and quickly assembled on site, with key node errors controlled within 2mm. The joint construction team of China and Australia conducted a special training on Australian building codes three months in advance to ensure that the entire construction process complies with the AS/NZS 4600 steel structure standard. In response to the operational habits of customer employees, the Canglong technical team has developed an English Chinese bilingual equipment operation manual and conducted a 45 day on-site training, covering the entire process from equipment debugging to daily maintenance.
