Project Overview

Canglong Group completed a prefabricated steel poultry farm project in General Santos City, Philippines, providing three identical chicken houses designed for commercial poultry production.

The project combines a galvanized steel structure with insulated enclosure systems to create a durable and practical farming environment suitable for the Philippines’ hot, humid, and rainy climate.

The buildings were designed to support modern poultry operations, including ventilation equipment installation, environmental control systems, daily management, and cleaning requirements.

Galvanized Steel Structure Designed for Poultry Environments

Poultry buildings require structural systems that can withstand humid conditions and frequent cleaning operations.

The main structure of this project adopts hot-dip galvanized steel components, providing improved corrosion resistance compared with conventional untreated steel systems. The steel frame is designed to maintain structural stability in a warm and humid agricultural environment.

The open-span steel structure also provides sufficient internal space for poultry equipment installation, ventilation systems, and daily farming operations.

Climate Control and Enclosure System

The walls and roof use 50mm EPS sandwich panels with a color steel exterior surface and PVC inner layer. This enclosure system was selected to improve insulation performance and resistance against moisture and agricultural environmental conditions.

The building system helps create a more stable internal environment by providing:

Thermal insulation to reduce heat transfer in hot climates
Better moisture resistance for humid environments
Smooth and easy-to-clean interior surfaces suitable for poultry operations
Improved protection against ammonia exposure in livestock environments

Customized Layout for Poultry Production

Unlike standard agricultural sheds, poultry houses require detailed planning for ventilation, temperature control, and equipment arrangement.

This project was designed with dedicated areas for:
