Project Overview

Canglong Group delivered a prefabricated metal warehouse project for a customer in Trinidad and Tobago.
The building measures 12.2 meters in width and 24.38 meters in length, with a 6-meter eaves height and an 8-meter roof ridge height.

Designed as a portal frame steel warehouse, the project adopts an internal column-free layout to maximize usable storage space and provide flexibility for warehouse operations.

Steel Warehouse Design Solution

For warehouse buildings in tropical regions, structural design needs to consider not only load-bearing performance but also weather resistance and long-term durability.

The main frame of this project uses Q355 high-strength H-section steel beams and columns, forming a stable portal frame structure. Galvanized C-shaped steel purlins are used to support the roof and wall systems, improving structural stability and corrosion resistance.

The column-free interior design provides a larger usable area, allowing customers to arrange storage areas and material handling operations more efficiently.

Adapted for Tropical Climate Conditions

Located in the Caribbean region, Trinidad and Tobago experiences high humidity, frequent rainfall, and a warm climate. The building enclosure system was selected to improve protection against local environmental conditions.

The warehouse uses weather-resistant color steel panels together with aluminum alloy windows, rolling shutter doors, and PVC gutter drainage systems. These components help improve rainwater management, ventilation, and overall building durability.

Manufacturing and Delivery

Canglong Group provided an integrated steel building solution including design support, structural fabrication, export logistics coordination, and installation technical guidance.

The steel components were manufactured in our production facilities before shipment, helping reduce on-site fabrication work and improve installation efficiency for overseas projects.
