Recently, the Azerbaijan Modern Brewery and Comprehensive Office Building project, for which Canglong Group provided a full-process, one-stop solution, officially entered the on-site installation phase. As another large-scale landmark project showcasing Canglong Group’s deep cultivation of the Central Asian market, this project encompasses planning and design, manufacturing of the complete steel structure and enclosure system, international booking and transportation, customs clearance guidance, and other services, demonstrating Canglong Group’s core strength in undertaking large-scale overseas industrial EPC projects of over 16,000 sq m.

Project Overview

This project is a composite industrial plant integrating high-capacity modern production workshops and high-end administrative offices.

Building Scale: The brewery has a total building area of ​​over 16,000 square meters and is a key project in the local food and beverage industry infrastructure sector.

Portal Frame Structure with Multiple Spans: The main production workshop adopts an advanced four-span portal frame structure. This multi-span design, while ensuring a large span space, minimizes the interference of internal columns on the automated production lines of large-scale beer fermentation and bottling, achieving efficient connection between vertical and horizontal production spaces.

Comprehensive Supporting Office Building: A three-story independent administrative office building is planned and constructed concurrently with the factory. To meet the sound insulation, load-bearing, and seismic resistance requirements of high-end administrative offices and R&D quality inspection, the office building adopts a robust reinforced concrete structure, complementing the main factory building and creating a high-standard industrial plant layout.

Core Manufacturing and Material Supply

Addressing the high dynamic loads, high humidity, and strict hygiene and temperature control requirements in beer production, Canglong Group adheres to near-stringent international industrial standards in material selection:

1. Primary and Secondary Structures

• Main Frame: The load-bearing beams and large-sized columns of the factory are uniformly made of high-strength, weldable Q355B low-alloy high-strength H-beams. The high-precision manufacturing of the digital factory ensures the rigidity and overall safety of the high-bay, multi-span structure under long-term full-load dynamic load operation.
• Secondary Structure Grid: The roof and wall secondary structure utilizes precision CNC prefabricated C-shaped steel purlins, combined with a complete set of tie rods and bracing, constructing a dense, geometrically stable network.

2. Enclosure System

Beer brewing and fermentation place extremely stringent dual standards on indoor temperature and fire resistance. Therefore, the Canglong technical team configured industry-leading polyurethane (PU) edge-sealed rock wool sandwich panels as the complete external enclosure for the walls and roof.

Absolute Fire Resistance: The core rock wool material possesses Class A absolute non-combustible performance, perfectly meeting local fire safety regulations.

Physical Waterproofing and Thermal Insulation: Canglong’s fully automated continuous production line perfectly injects high-performance PU foam at the tongue and groove joints on both sides of the rock wool panels. The high closed-cell rate of polyurethane completely blocks external moisture from penetrating the rock wool, effectively solving the water absorption problem in maritime transport and rainy environments. It also eliminates the “cold bridge effect,” preventing condensation dripping from the workshop ceiling due to temperature differences, significantly reducing the brewery’s subsequent constant-temperature refrigeration energy consumption.

Canglong Group’s Packaging and Delivery

The delivery of this brewery project, spanning thousands of kilometers and covering over 16,000 square meters, hinges on precise coordination of logistics and the supply chain. Currently, all materials for the project have been 100% prefabricated at Canglong’s modern domestic production base and are being shipped in batches:

• Total Steel Structure Supply: The main and secondary steel structure components meticulously crafted by Canglong Group for this project weigh over 1,800 tons. All components underwent rigorous non-destructive testing and multiple layers of heavy-duty anti-corrosion and anti-rust coating before leaving the factory.
• Container Shipment Scale: A complete set of materials, including heavy H-beams, C-beams, hundreds of thousands of square meters of sandwich panels, gutters and drainage pipes, aluminum alloy industrial doors and windows, and a full set of high-strength fasteners, were neatly packaged, assembled, and shipped to fill 85 40-foot high cube containers (40HQ containers).
• Worry-Free On-Site Assembly: Leveraging Canglong’s professional international booking and transportation services, all containers were precisely locked and shipped according to the construction sequence. Upon arrival at the Azerbaijani site, components were immediately unpacked and assembled using a 100% bolt-on “modular” assembly method, eliminating the need for on-site secondary welding. This significantly shortened the construction period and reduced local labor costs.

From a single detailed design drawing to the perfect assembly of over 1,800 tons of steel components and 85 containers traversing land and sea.
