Canglong Group completed a prefabricated steel warehouse project for a customer in Los Santos Province, Panama.
Designed for storage and industrial use, the building combines a galvanized steel structure with insulated enclosure panels to provide a practical solution for tropical climate conditions.
The project adopts a compact and efficient structural layout with a building size of 36 meters in length and 21 meters in width. The design provides sufficient internal space for storage operations while maintaining structural stability and long-term usability.

Galvanized Steel Structure for Tropical Environment
Buildings located in tropical regions require effective protection against humidity, rainfall, and corrosion.
For this Panama warehouse project, Canglong selected a hot-dip galvanized steel structure as the main framing system. The galvanized coating improves corrosion resistance and helps maintain structural performance in warm and humid environments.

Insulated EPS Sandwich Panel Enclosure System
The roof and wall enclosure system uses 50mm EPS sandwich panels, providing insulation performance and improving the indoor environment of the warehouse.

Project Details
The main structure of the factory shed is constructed entirely of high-grade galvanized steel. The beams and columns are hot-dip galvanized, providing strong resistance to rust and corrosion. It can withstand the challenging high temperatures and high humidity of the Dominican coastal region, significantly extending the building’s service life.
For the enclosure system, the roof utilizes 50mm thick EPS sandwich panels. This material is not only lightweight and strong, but its polystyrene core also provides excellent thermal insulation and heat retention, effectively blocking out external heat, significantly improving the working environment within the factory, and reducing air conditioning energy costs for customers.
